I was driving right behind a white van on my phone when I saw this tire in the air and the van in front of me looked like it exploded as the tire landed on the van. pieces of car was flying everywhere and cars were getting bumped by the wheel rolling around. I pulled over and ran to the car and saw the driver jump out so I thought to myself...coo he's safe. but then I started hearing the driver scream a name and as I ran up tot he ride there was a passenger. me and some white dood immediately jumped in and we checked for a pulse. the passenger had a faint pulse so we were telling him to stay with us even though he was unconscious. minutes passed and he let out a couple gasps and we lost his pulse. I didn't know what to think at that point...the passenger looked like the homie...just someone that you would know...life cut short just like that within minutes. I didn't know what to think at that point and slowly climbed out of the van and walked back to my car. I've never felt so hopeless, like I couldn't proceed to give cpr to an upright person who's been crushed, there were no medics on the scene yet and all we could scream over and over was "don't leave yet". It was like giving up on someone at one point. I donno...I don't think his face will leave me for a long time...I don't know if I was traumatized by it because of all the things I've seen in the past...but this definitely put me in check...
value those who rode for you or continue to ride for you. you never know...
