Two things I love about New York in the summer:
1.)The male pigeons puff up their neck feathers and follow around the lady pigeons because they want to have sex with them.
2.) Those evenings when Tompkins park is filled with fireflies (bonus if you can squeeze them and make them explode!)
Two things I do not like about my new neighborhood:
1,) Nobody cares to pick up the shit from their viscious, mangy, malnourished pitbulls
2.) The car that is parked outside my window's alarm goes off everytime someone (everyone!) playing loud rap music wiv duh bass drives by.
Two things I love about my new Neighborhood:
1.) The couple on my block who have both a kitty cat and a baby.
2.) The friendly, well-fed pitbull who sits on the proch on the corner of C and 7th and lets me rub up on it.
Friday is my last day of work which is so exciting that I'm peeing my pants.
Annabel Lee better not change their name.
I am heading back to Michigan soon, if only for a week and a half.
Has anyone read Middlesex? I really want to.
