today is for me, me, me
I get to have my 1 hour massage today at Earthling...one hour til then. Yay! I have already had a nice sauna experience--taking nicholai to Charlestowne Landing for 2 hours this morning--45 minutes riding a bike around and 45 more in the animal forest...i have never sweated so much. it's like a rainforest here. nicholai had lots 'o fun.
mom called and wanted me to come put all her dishes and everything else up in her cabinets now that most of the kitchen work is done--a job i know i have to do, but i just said NO cause today is for ME ME ME to be selfish and luxurious, and i don't want to have that chore awaiting me after my massage. that would just negate the whole experience. i told her i would do it tomorrow during nicholai's naptime. that's going to be SUCH fun, since mom is a little on the OCD side with how things are arranged JUST SO, so she'll be in there ordering me exactly how to stack everything. At least i get "paid"--grandma is throwing out TONS of old kitchen stuff, and i am sure there will be vintage WARES for me to take! and mom is giving me lots of nice pillows she bought last year with beads and stuff on them that will match my living room, since she has new stuff now.
i will even treat myself to some kind of spa product after the massage--cause i will feel weird just LEAVING afterwards, expecially since the tip is already included and i don't have to give one...so i will linger around and browse and come out with something nifty.
time to take a shower to get all the sweat and mud off of me.
