Easy Songs for Beginners blogJust so I don't lose the link. :)
Oh yeah, and I learned how to play "Scarborough Fair" straight. The guitar book I'm using has that song to in with a lesson about fingerpicking and...its confusing the HELL out of me D:
I figure I can just learn it the regular way and get back to it later when I've learned more.
Speaking o' which
I should preface this by saying a lot of these songs I can't play without looking at the book they're in. I'm still practicing, dammit! So if you should perchance to ask me "play 'Jingle Bells'!" and hand me an acoustic, I'd probably take off like a deer in headlights. So don't :P

I know what you're thinking: "But Amanda, why aren't there any Velvet Underground songs on that list?" And the answer to that is: I haven't gotten around to them yet. My printer doesn't work so in order to get a song that isn't in my guitar book, I have to write it down on a piece of paper. I can't believe I lost the sheet that had the chords to "Yellow Submarine" D:
But yeah, definitely next on my list is "After Hours" by the Velvet Underground
