Prom Blues
I'm getting disheartened by the way prom is panning out this year.
-The prom theme is Rave. Yeah. I don't get it either.
-Prom is taking place at the Elk Lodge, which I guess is a country club that is "tiny"
-After-prom is at Liberty Lanes, which is a bowling alley
-I still don't have a dress :(
My whole reaction is a disappointed "Mewwl." It's bad enough that I don't get to go with Eric but Ed (and a couple of other people) are like "This is so gay, we're not going!" so...what's the point of going if my friends are just going to bail on it? I don't want to not go to prom 'cuz....neither of my parents have so there's a bit of pressure for me to go. Plus I do just want to go
Plus the senior trip, which is to Hershey Park, Pennsylvania. I don't mind, it seems like it'd be fun but the seniors are complaining about that too. If my friends are going to bail on that too....what's the point? :(
