Para Cuando, Senorita?
What up? I'm posting from the old Mary Washington Hospital down by Jayem. Mom wanted to pull in an extra shift and didn't want to do it alone so here I is.
So as of now, I've been in school 2 weeks. I now have a renewed respect for all my LJ buds now in college 'cuz...being a senior is HARD! I dunno if it's just my school but god, I didn't know there was so much stuff I, e.i. my parents had to pay for. Senior dues, senior pictures, class ring. Don't even get me started on a senior quote and a college application essay! *sad mewl* O_O
This year we started block scheduling which basically means instead of having 7 periods every day, there are just 4 really big ones and next semester, there are 4 more. So when the year is over, you will have (hopefully) completed 8 classes. My classes this semester are Honors Reading, Spanish 2, Geometry 2, and Painting.
Honors Reading Right now we're (Jaeger is in my class too) "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison. It strikes as being kind of like "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand except, it doesn't make me want to kill myself.
Spanish 2 I was afraid that after I got back to school, I'd forget all the Spanish I learned, but I've caught up. Mrs. Chaves, my mentor now that Mrs. Spiak is not here anymore, is also my teacher. She's really proud of me and stuff because I'm understanding it and doing the assignments and stuff.
Then 15 minute lunch (WTF?) then
Geometry 2 Mr. Boles yells a lot O_o. The other day I was really sleepy but I was too scared to fall asleep 'cuz then he'd yell at me. :(
Painting Nothing really to say about this class except Eduardo, Jaeger, Andrew and Zach are in it
All in all, none of my classes this semester are particularly hard, which is good I guess short-term. Long term, the harder ones are just around the corner. Eep.

Oh yeah, my Internet isn't working at the mo. I called Verizon Tech Support like...4 times and they actually didn't know what the problem was. The router wasn't working. At first they said get a new Ethernet cable. We did. When that didn't work, they put in an order for a new router. It took forever to get here and when it did, the Internet STILL wouldn't work. They said they have isolated the problem so we need a new Network card. So, yeah. We should be taking the computer to Best Buy to have it installed or whatever.
