So yeah, I think my Mom is done school shopping now. Last week it was...Target and Kohls and today we went to Old Navy's, Ross, and Marshall's. I'm not sure if it's fashion now but I have not a disproportional amount of shirts that have stretched out collars and the only way to wear them without showing the whole world my collarbone and/or boobies (lulz, I said 'boobies') is to wear a tank top underneath it. So my Mom bought like...5 different ones in colorful...colors. I think that's the style now, layered things. In other words, looking like a backup dancer in this
video I kind of hate Old Navy. They can get away with having these ugly T-shirt cost 20 bucks. There was the one time me and my Mom got a good deal but cosmic law permits that should happen once or Old Navy would cease to exist in this universe. Eh, its a preppie hut anyway.
I'm not sure why 80's fashion is making a comeback but it is. SRSLY, I'm seeing DayGlo stuff all over the place. AND before school let out, I saw somebody with a "Frankie says Relax" T-shirt. O_o I did get some chunky, colorful earrings, though. I'm just kind of glad stirrup pants aren't part of this comeback but with leggings in vogue now, it might not be long until it comes back too. The only 80's trends regarding fashion were stirrup pants and
Jellies, but that was in the early 90's and I was really young. I do remember them making my feet blistery and sweaty. Hah, speaking of 80's stuff, I wish they had out in stores a "Purple Rain" T-shirt like Mouth had in The Goonies. Or a Monkees shirt. *wistful sigh*:)
YAH, I'm on a slight eighties kick right now. Vh1Classic is having a block of eighties videos all through Labor Day weekend but they're going in alphabetically order so...last time I was watched it, which was this morning, it was up to Sheena Easton.
BTW, I'm not actually drunk, just...longwinded. XD
