Well this was a nice change. I'm usually on the computer at 9 AM and then I am forced off at 3. Now MARVEL!...as I regain my train of thought.
Oh yeah. I forget where but my dad had gotten a whole box of vinyls. Don't get TOO excited, they're like jazz and blues and swing and stuff. At Linens N' Things we got a mock-period record player/CD player/AM-FM radio/cassette player/pasta maker. I'm kidding about the pasta maker. :P Me and Dad have been rifling through the box playing whatever seems interesting. Angus, who already has a low tolerance for anything I like, is off sulking upstairs 'cuz we cut in on his American Head Charge or whatever. At least I TRY to like his taste in music sometimes. A lot the stuff runs together to me. I can't help it. I have taste. ;)
I like this record player. It was hard getting used to putting the needle down at the right time. Mostly I just stare at the record spinning. I suggested going to the pawn shop because I know they have vinyls there, I even saw Led Zeppelin IV on vinyl but its Sunday so its closed. :(
Change the record. This one is 'Voodoo. Exotic Music from Polynesia and the Far East.' Personally it sounds like the soundtrack to The Jungle Book or incidental music for a Star Trek episode set on a tropical planet. Ew and the record sleeve is moldy.
Since I have nothing else to talk about in this entry, I'll end it.
