So, tonight is, probably, the best chance you will have to see a shooting star all year.  It is the annual Perseid meteor shower.  The Earth will be passing through the debris of the Tuttle-Swift Comet and it will streak across out skies.  They say the best time to go out and see it will be around 2 a.m.  Not even the Moon will be interfering with the show like it did last year.  It's a New Moon tonight.

Now, isn't it a great cosmic joke that it's raining where I am right now and I won't get to see it?  It rained the last time I went out to see it too.
