So this Saturday past I spent all day outside helping some fellow sci-fi (not and never 'SyFy' or whatever the hell the Sci-Fi channel changed their name to) fans make a Stargate-Doctor Who crossover fan film. As such I received a sunburn on my back, in a semicircle around the base of my neck. I never really paid any attention to it because it wasn't so bad that it hurt, it didn't even sting. I didn't even notice I had it except when I was getting in the shower.

At least until just an hour or so ago. I was sitting in the computer room (a room off the living room that's where we keep all the major electronics) on my laptop reading some fanfiction. Anyone that spends more than ten minutes in a conversation with me knows that doing that is nothing new. I scratched a small itch on my back, not even worried about irritating my sunburn. My sunburns are almost always un-irritable. I need to rent them out to babysit children for me. Seriously.

I pull my hand out of the neck of my shirt, as the itch was just on my shoulder blade and scratching itches through fabric isn't as satisfying. And. It. Comes. Away. With. Skin.

As in skin off my back.

This also isn't anything new... but eeww. It was a REALLY big piece of skin, at LEAST two inches across and one wide. Seriously. I'm not kidding.

So now I'm laying on my bed, on my stomach, with moisturizer on the worst section of my sunburn. At least I have a legitimate reason to not wear a shirt tonight. ;)

random stuff, rant
