It was on an uneventfully sunny day that the nine white robed figures appeared in the middle of the gateroom. They stood in a circle facing away from each other and looked passively at the security teams that jumped forward pointing weapons at them. Not one of them seemed even remotely worried about being harmed by the Atlantean soldiers and that fact alone scared everyone that looked upon them. Elizabeth stood watching from the control room with her thoughts and emotions carefully hidden away from her face.
“Colonel Sheppard to the gateroom immediately!” someone exclaimed over the radioes. Alarms blared through the hallways to warn against possible hostiles. The nine simply stood passively staring at all who occupied the large room. When John ran through the doors and down to face the intruders the assembled Atlanteans couldn’t help but give a small breath of relief. They were safe now.
“You are incapable of harming us.” one of the men of the group announced loudly.
“You’d be surprised what we’re capable of doing.” John shot back. Somewhere between arriving and getting down onto the gateroom floor he got ahold of a P90.
“Your weapons are no use against our superior abilities.” Another man told John.
“We’ll see about that.” John returned.
“Who are you?” Elizabeth called down from the balcony.
A single head turned to look at her. “You are Elizabeth Weir, diplomat.” a woman stated. Her head turned to look at John. “You are John Sheppard, soldier.”
Ronon and Teyla skidded into the gateroom from the direction of the gyms. They were both still wearing their workout gear. Both levelled guns at the nine robed figures.
The woman turned to level a glare at the two Pegasus natives.
