Good day for weddings?
Have two weddings to attend today. Just attended a church wedding this morning and will be attending another dinner this evening. Both brides were my secondary school friends, one was a classmate the other a fellow Red Cross member.
Very honoured to be the witness for the church solemnisation this morning.... signing the papers as a witness really brought back memories of me signing the same set of papers as a bride more than 2 and a half years ago :) Really nice to see this couple coming together as man and wife after the rough patch they had gone through 2 years back. I still remember having to be there no only for my friend but also for her mum cos her mum was so worried about her at that time. Anyway, just so happy to see them so blissful today :)
Somehow, I am not that incline to attend the dinner this evening :P As opposed to this morning cozy, simple affair, knowing the crowd for this evening, I am sure it is going to be a "blink-blink", "high class high class" type of dinner tonight. Sigh.... I am just a simple girl :P But anyway, I have promised my friend I will be there this evening so I will definitely be there. Already missed her church wedding this morning cos of the clash. Thank goodness she didn't mind a bit cos she is not a Christian anyway, her hubby is.
