Soo Vegas was about a week ago and I have finally found some time for the update.
Friday, March 31st.:
The crew (Amy, Tracy, Capt and Jamie) picked me up from my fathers house at butt clock in the morning. And even though I was super tired because I hadn't slept yet I was so excited and I hadn't seen Amy in what seemed like five months we talked for a good fraction of our drive. We arrived at the sin city and hit bumper to bumper traffic. I thought I would be "funny" and open my door which resulted in my water bottle to fly out of the car and I went to chase after it. After searching the strip we found our hostel. It wasn't the Bellagio but it was 35 bucks for the weekend. Hellsa worth it. It was like the three years of living in the dorms. Community bathroom and bunk beds. After we showered and dazed up we ate at ESPN ZONE. A personal must do for Vonner. The food was really good and our Bio-Chem major waiter was "pretty good" (haha Alex) himself. Then some sight seeing of NY NY, Lexor, Manalay Bay, The Excaliber. Jamie and I decided to go to Coyote Ugly and check it out with our free passes. After drinks at the hostel, martini at dinner, large tube full of margarita, and two tokyo teas I was ready to DANCE ON THE BAR with Jamie. The five free shots were a nice added bonus too. Lets just say Day one in Vegas, awesome.
Saturday, April 1st:
We started a bit later and did the sight seeing thing while trying to find a place to play black jack. Towards the end of the day, after we found a sexy dress for the Cap't K, we decided to play in New York New York. Started with 60 bucks and played a 10 dollar min. table for a couple of hours. I was doing well...then not so hot...then REALLY well...and all in all I lost ten bucks. Worth the time and money and the drinks would have equalled ten bucks anyways. After getting "beautifed" for a huge night on the town...not going to lie drinking a whole bottle of capt morgans before we get to our destination probably wasnt the smartest thing, but it was VEGAS! After a couple more drinks everything from there is hazy...Like there are stories of me falling into bushes and disappering, going on rants on Sac States athletic director, Barry Bonds, Andrea Bocelli, and how much I love my friends. We didn't end up getting in to Studio 54, but instead I met two gay men that took a fancy to my "rack." So yea there is a picture floating around of one of them naked holding there junk up against me... about that. But at least a good quote came from it..."Its like this one is North America and the other one is South America..."..."You want me to show you Central America??" ..So yea...I woke up the next day swearing off alcohol for the rest of the trip.
Sunday, April 2nd:
Went to the House of Blues for breakfast. Just what I need! Got a call from some weird number telling us that RENT! was now playing in Paris. Thank you to weird phone call guy. Venetain to ride the Gondola's and Amy and I got the BEST Gondoler, had all the jokes. He sang to us in Italian...you know he speaks three kinds of broken English. Love that kid. THEN SEEING RENT! WAS THE GREATEST THING ON THIS PLANET!! WORTH THE FIVE MILLION HOUR UNCOMFORTABLE CAR RIDE AND THE 80 DOLLAR TICKETS!!! I want to see it on Broadway, anyone for New York, the real one?? Car ride home was long but enjoyable.
SO IN CONCLUSION:
Vegas was wonderful, I can't wait to go again. There are some good pictures, waiting for some more. It was a break I needed, I love my friends to pieces, and I came home with more money left then I thought I would. WOOT! Thats it with a bag of chips.
