Star Trek: Reboot
I have a thing about going to the movies by my self, in that i don't, and a thing for saving certain things up like treats for when you really, really need them, which is mostly why I didn't actually watch this movie until last week.
For the record? waiting was a mistake. I have fallen so hard into this fandom, the landing just about killed me. I have even uploaded a new icon for the first time in i don't know how long! That is how much i love this film, this fandom right now - there is no room in my head for anything not Trek-related. Even the HM, who is used to my episodes of single mindedness when I am busy immersing myself in a new and shiny, is a little shocked ('Are you watching that film *again*?). Also, the soundtrack to this film is *awesome* - I highly recommend it to anyone who likes that sort of music.
That said, i have managed some productivity this last few weeks - I am newly employed, to start at an as yet undetermined date (I have access to a lot of the seriously good drugs so the higher-ups like to make sure you're not on anybodies shit list before they actually let you have the job, and that takes a frustrating amount of time). Maybe six weeks to two months before I move (I have to work my notice, too), 'move' being the operative word - this is basically the same job as i'm doing now, albeit with hopefully more room for advancement, but it's the location that matters on this one - I may be swapping one set of logistical nightmares for another, but i'm betting i'll come out on top this time.
