I'm a kitty-aunt again!!!!!

this time, tis jeston's kitty-cat. her name is Duma. She's a black tabby, which means she has a tiny little face with big pale green eyes and her coat is pure black, until you look at her in direct, bright light, then you can see these faded stripes of brown. tis so pretty. she's only about 6 weeks old, but she's very curious and exploratory, despite the fact that she's skittish. she's never been away from her siblings before today, and was hardly handled by people because her momma's owners didn't want to get attached to the kittens they had to give away, so she was particularly on edge today when we got her to her new home.
by the time i left tho, she was falling asleep, and she was giving me kitty kisses!!!! she's not sure yet if she likes jeston tho. ::snicker:: he has a 4 year old rat terrier named sammy and poor sammy's a total chicken-dog, so Duma's gonna be kicking his ass soon. today she was all hisses and snarls and clawed at him if he got too close, but she'll grow out of that.
and supposedly duma's really *my* cat... as an incentive to get me to move out of parents' place and into some place of my own. i told him not blod'dy likely as i'm resigning myself to living here forever after the last terrible experience of moving out. he said 'alright, fine. then if my landlord has a fit about me having a cat and a dog, you're finding the kitten a new place to live.' so i guess i'm still stuck. 0=c> if it comes to that tho, i'm going to attempt to pawn her off on my neighbors, the ones whose cat i occasionally sit for.
i'll try to get a piccy tomorrow. =cD
