homework HALP!!!
so this semester's turning in to a bigger bitch than i thought it was going to... which, considering the subjects, says a lot, 'cause i've been afraid of this particular bitch for years...
but anyway. so i have to give a 4 to 6 minute speech on monday, no set topic, just have to 'tell a story' that has to open with an attn getter and "close with impact". it can be any story at all, from life experience, to made-up. one person stood up and did an email fwd story as her tale.
you would think this wouldn't be that hard for me, but
1) i don't *talk* about myself very easily even to my best friends, (this is why i have an online journal by which to speak to them)
and
2)have i mentioned i hate speaking in front of groups larger than two?
and
3) i can't tell lies very convincingly because i can't even be convincing with the truth half the time.
SO!!! i need HALP!!! to steal a word from
chi1013's vocabulary.

EDIT: 2/9/08 - The first speech is DONE!!! just not, ya know, speeched yet. 0=c> but i got the draft written up, (went with majority's vote,) and i'll figure out notecards tomorrow. i probably should have done math homework more than i did today, too, but speech class is important too...
