omg. i love that show.
justin and brian thing is freakin' gonna kill me. i love it. omg. the only bad thing is i keep wanting to call him aiden. ::nerfs maggie and sandra:: and i love it. just watched the two pilot eppies earlier tonight and then just now watched third eppie. third eppie, "lets hear it for the boy" started up in babylon and omg i loved it. if i could have without drawing attn to the fact that i was watching a buncha guys dance together on the screen, i would have started cheering. poor daphne up there abandoned, but if i were her, i woulda been cheering.
oh, btw, amusing aiden note: justin's 17. brian's 29. sawyer's not amused. ::snicker:: but i sure as hell am.
thing i could do without is the lindsey and melanie thing. the writing is great in this show, but their whole storyline is weak. or it's their chara's are weak. but there's just no chara build up to make me give a rats hind end about them two, love gus but that's only because he's brian's.
and i find it darkly amusing that that chara has the same name as my ex bf. it so doesn't fit. it's total irony. i mention i love this yet?

omg. i ran out of work today. so i started catching up on work the regular secretary's been doing. i'm like, wtf, why can't i have this job? i would reorganize EVERYTHING because that place has no organization. for a lawyer's office that charges so dang much an hour, you would think there would be a requisite amount of efficiency, but everything is still on rolodex cards and printed paper. they have a shed in the back filled with old files that are stored in the numbered boxes and the files are logged in this binder that keeps track of what file is in what numbered box... but the numbered boxes AREN'T KEPT IN NUMERICAL ORDER. you can not find ANYTHING. it's archaic and unorganized and amazing to me. i offered to start doing some data entry to build them a data base to keep track of things... "no... we've tried before... someone always typos and we can't figure out what box it's in..." o... m... g... i'm just insane and a neat freak at work i guess. should go to school to organize peoples workspaces ergonomically and with genuine efficientness in mind. so i spent the afternoon reorganizing and sorting and organizing again the past two years of filing that the regular receptionist never gets to..................................
altho it was amusing... one of the gal's got online and found her son's myspace page... and was floored by what he put there... go fig. tried to dampen the shock some by offering up anectdotes on ali but... and! she called her son on the phone later that afternoon and informed him that she had found his page. me and the other receptionist paralegal person were trying not to snicker as we listened in. seriously, what people can learn from their kids myspace pages, i would think they should look at it more like a tool than as an evil that is overtaking their mind. if i were that lady, i wouldn't have outright informed my kid "i saw your page. change it.", i woulda started reading up and gotten to see my kid how my kid sees themselves and then gawdforbid actually be able to understand who my kid really is. but i'm not a parent, nor will i ever be, and that is probably why. ::sigh:: ::shaking head::

fyi to anyone who cares... christmas/birthday prezzies next year: downpayments on the remaining seasons of qaf. too fuckin' expensive. this season alone was a serious splurge out of desperation but i love it so it's all okay now. ::addict glaze and twitch::
