Hockey: Why was it I stopped fighting for TV time again?
This man is officially adorable.
Dan Boyle - the dude who on Sunday night tried to shoot a pass to a teammate and instead hit his own team's goal net to win the game for the other team after an 0-0 in overtime game - jumped outta the gate and shot the first goal of the rematch game tonight. Total redemption. At that point, I was liking the guy. Then later, he all but fell on the puck trying to keep it out of the goal. For some reason, that just sealed it for me. He's just a dedicated old dog doin' what he was trained to do. And that's absolutely adorable. And! They interviewed him after the game and he was Awesome and still Adorable. Dan Boyle rules.
Me, I'm a long time Avalanche fan, I've just been out of practice watching games 'cause I didn't want to try juggling the TV time for the games. Then I watched Game 3 on Sunday because I'm house-sitting and they have a full sports package ::snicker::. And the Sharks are considerably more local than the Avalanche, but, uh, the Avs have Craig Anderson, and that man is impressive. Holy. Carp. He blocked some amazing shots.

So between my latent love for the Avs and my new-found respect for the Sharks, this has been an absolutely EVIL series... I have no idea who I should be rooting for!!! But it reminded me that the game is awesome.
So I tuned in tonight for the same reason since I'm still house-sitting.
And, unless lolilie has tickets she wants to give away, guess where I'll be on Thursday. ::snerk::
