jobhunting again

like, pounding the streets even. i'm trying to convince myself to dress up tomorrow (err, i mean later today) and run all around town to like, three different places that say "apply in person"... i hate those. it means 1) you get judged then and there and 2) you have to fill out evil applications even tho you'll never get a call back!!! it'd be one thing if they just asked for your resume and sent you on your way, but no. you have to sit in the office for a half an hour and fill out papers. it's annoying. and i thought i had a lead on a good job last week, had the interview set up and everything. then turns out the job went to someone else through another hiring agency. ::headdesk:: and to add more insult to injury, they had me do a clerical test, which was fine except for the very first page filled with math problems. i did the addition and subtraction... but left 6 multiplication/division problems completely blank.... my SISTER could have passed that part of the test.

note to self: bring sibling to next job agency so she can do math section of clerical test.
or better yet... don't go to anymore hiring agencies!!! yeah!! like that idea.

okay. now i'm just stalling on writing another cover letter. urgh.
where's the fairy godmother with the magic wand to cut my weight by half and update my wardrobe and bless me with a brain for math?
