Life: So I caved...
...And finally applied to CSU Chico.
I must admit it felt very good to correct the old information and inform them that HA!! I MET AND EXCEEDED YOUR EXPECTATIONS, SIR!!! by taking all required courses and kicking ass with A's.
I think what I'm going to do is go for a certificate program in Literary Editing and Publishing. As a trial run. Then if I survive the evil riots and the evil, immature, dumbasses who insist on participating in them, then I'll waste money I still don't have on furthering the education.
We shall see how it turns out, as I have yet to be accepted. I merely filled out and submitted the application. HA!
Also, amusing note: Application asked for demographic info. Gave me the option of 'European, North African, Middle Eastern', or 'other white'... I felt like smacking them. Instead, I clicked 'other white' and typed in 'American'... wanted to type in, 'American, ya asshole'. but figured that was antagonistic instead of simply smart ass. 0=c) My family's been on this continent for 300 years. We came over on the first boats. We married slaves and 'Indians' and each other. I'm NOT European White anymore, tyvm. I'm a Heinz 57 mutt and proud of it. No stupid school even needs to know the color of my skin to start with. I'm American, stuck with an American uni system so stupid they're broke, so they can just bite my American pride.
