Random thoughts.
I just read that for kids today "video games are a measure of social competence for boys.". From two Harvard professors. I don't if this frightens me or justifies my pro-video games position.
I lost 14 euros in a friendly game of poker last night. What a fule. I was terribly drunkened by the end though (and reasonably drunkened at the beginning). It was good fun, though I went a bit radio about how I would rather play Limit Hold'em.
Been playing a bit of 5-asides recently and it has been good. I have also enjoyed various park-based kickabouts but have usually been hungover for those. And there were girls playing, you know how it is... I have been enjoying it a lot, I even bought myself some football shoes.
In other news I have been drinking to much and hemorrhaging cash. I spent a fair wadge in IKEA to reasonably effect. Maybe I'll post pictures.
Morcheeba played Hamburg and it was amazing. They sounded awesometastic and their new singer girl is very purdy and French.
