It's the end...but the moment has been prepared for...
Yeah, it’s not working out is it?
Don’t worry it’s not you, it’s me, sorry. Just can’t go on like this, I can’t give you the time you need, it’s not fair on you. Going to have to let you go and get on with my life. It will be hard but I think we can both see by the way I’ve neglected you that it’s for the best. I can still visit occasionally, so it may not be final, you never know what’s around the corner.
My attempt to blog has failed. Not that life is too busy and exciting that I don’t have the time, it’s just I don’t have the inclination. Since I last posted in April what’s happened? I’ve become quite active in a Star Wars costuming group - I crew a shopping centre collections and the like. Even got myself an Imperial Officers costume to troop in myself. Might even get a Stormtrooper costume, or maybe do something out of my comfort zone and more challenging - Asajj Ventress anyone?
Become quite the eBay addict, selling stuff I’ve been meaning to clear out for ages. Buying other to replace it of course but I’m being quite mature and frugal elsewhere to make up for it.
Work continues to be unfulfilling. Seem trapped in a prison of job security. Have enough money saved to allow me to do something adventurous but I’m too old a cynical now to make a leap knowing I should be a proper responsible grown up. And given I’m the only one in my immediate family with a full time job and regular income is a strange burden to carry.
Something needs to change though, each year I say - this time next year I’ll be doing something else. Well now I’m swearing on the holy trinity of Lucas, Spielberg & Russell T Davies, that this time next year - I’ll out of Grim Northern Town and doing something awesome.
