i was talking with megan downey(sp?, sorry megan) last night when jimmy and i were on a bike ride and she said, "i saw that you updated your live journal the other day" (well maybe not in those exact words, i can't really remember, sorry again megan). anyway, this made me think "hey i'll update my live journal again" (however, probably not in those exact words). i didn't know that it just shows up in your "friends" or something if you update your live journal, so it doesn't even really matter what i update it with just the fact that i update it so "von_schwe" shows up in bold for all those who have me as a friend. the girl band practiced in our house last night and they sounded okay. it seems like it could be a pretty frustrating situation for me (this girl band practice i mean, probably cause my patience has been a little short lately), but jimmy works diligently at it, and i hope and think the girls appretiate it. i thought i broke this delay pedal about six months ago and so i just put it away as broken. . . but after calling a bunch of places about getting it fixed on friday i put a battery in it and it worked. pretty dope, eh? i like this thing, will like to use, but probably never will. it adds to my arsenal of equipment that works and is mine: a strap, a base amp (kind of it shorts out pretty bad), a cable, a guitar, a tuner (currently lost), another strap, and a delay/echo pedal. it was fun talking to megan last night and i think she is going to help me fix my sweeter shirt. thanks megan.
