A/N: Ah, canon... it's a funny thing for me in this series. I take bits and pieces that I like and jumble them all up. Everything canon for Koschei & Theta is up for question anyway, since it comes from books and audio plays. So while I do like some of the things that are mentioned in Lungbarrow, Divided Loyalties, etc., I don't feel bound to stick to them exactly as written. Basically you'll never see the whole 'deal with death' scenario in here because I found it so totally OOC for the Doctor. But I did pick-n-choose the whole thing about bullying from that incident. The only mostly immutable canon I have for the boys is whatever was shown in the TV shows & the movie. If I mess up on that, feel free to call me on it so I decide if I want to fix it. Otherwise, just go with the flow, okay? :-)
A/N2: The young Theta in the icon for this story is David Henesy, from the original Dark Shadows way back when. I just gingered him up to play Theta.
