I adore Terry Gilliam. I know that Brothers Grimm was pretty much universally panned, but I loved it.

I'm so glad that DW introduced me to John Simm. I've watched Life on Mars and really liked it (so much better than the US one!) and I can't wait to find more of his stuff. I'd especially like to get Crime & Punishment 'cause the pics I've seen from that are so hot.

I want to try a story that looks at the Doctor from this perspective. We saw a little bit of that when the Master asked him what it felt like to have that much power. When I think of him as 'oncoming storm' or 'time lord victorious' or even some of the things 11's said, I get the feeling like there is a lot less difference between them than the Doctor'd like to believe. The main difference seems to be guilt, which could be seen as being incredibly self-indulgent and not all together the sorrow & regret it's usually portrayed as.

Anyway, I'm rambling again. It's just that it's great 'talking' to someone else who loves Doctor/Master as much as I do. :)

Hey, ramble away! I like a good ramble... and here was I getting worried that I was doing the same...lol.

I hope you do write that story, 'cause I'd like to read it! The two of them (Doctor and Master) are similar IMHO... its just that their motives are somewhat different. And perhaps the Master has a slightly higher body count than the Doctor...

PS Just listening to Avantasia's 'The Wicked Symphony', a track called 'The Wastelands'... lol. foot tapping stuff....
