Icon love. I think I swiped it from you to begin with, but I've seen it so many times, I don't remember. It's perfect though.

Thanks for liking the story. I was afraid I might've gone too far with the non-con/rape aspect, but it just had to be done. And done without any nice-nice resolution to it, either. After spending the last few days writing crack-y stuff, I had to get back to my angst roots. :)

Wow, that was... heavy. But, like you say, it had to be done. TBH that is how I see their relationship a lot of the time. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading some fluff and what we saw in TEOT illustrates that they can have their 'moments'... I've always had the feeling that they are less common than the angsty stuff, though, especially in later years as the Master's insanity grew.

I got my copy of The Tardis Handbook today - its a really handy (ha ha) tool for writers methinks, having loads of stuff about Time Lord history in it. just flipping through it has given me a few plot ideas (argh, as if I needed anymore!)

The handbook sounds great. I really wish I knew more about Gallifrey and Time Lord society. I'm big into sociology & psychology so backstory fascinates me. Unfortunately I'm massively poor and much as I'd like, books just can't be in my budget. :(

Yeah, I think that their relationship is seriously fucked up most of the time. It's not a place I can live in for long though so I have to write some lighter EoT stuff interspersed between angst stories to keep me from falling into the black hole that is Doctor/Master.

Glad the book is giving you plot ideas :) Can't wait to read them.

Yes...know exactly where you're coming from with the 'it's not a place I can live in for long' remark! I find I do have to have breaks between the darker stuff because it can be very disturbing other wise...

Oh, this was so deliciously dark and so well written! The Master is certainly good at torturing the Doctor, and you have really brought that darkness out so well in this one!

I love the parts where the Master kept repeating "Mine" as he shoved into the Doctor against the wall! That was just so brilliant! I'm sorry if that sounds a bit twisted, but seeing the Doctor tortured so wonderfully by his Master is just
so wonderful.

I also loved the end part where the Master finished with the Doctor and left him there, strolling past his guards naked, and not giving a toss. That was just so spot on of his character.

Thanks so much for this, it really showed the true nature of the Master and his strong feelings for the Doctor. Good stuff this! :D I really enjoyed it.

Yeah, the Master is all about claiming what's his in this story. He wants him so bad and sometimes the Doctor is just totally clueless.
