Hello,
I spent today transplanting a Bookleaf pine, hopefully it will survive, after the hassle of digging it out it'd bloody well better! This all started as an attempt to fix the path to our flat and as normal it has grown into something bigger. I'm thinking about putting a pond where the pine was. Mabye I can use it as part of the amazing fish and chip experiment.
I've got another tree which has to go too, a paperbark, I'm going to attempt to move it as well, I think. Both of the trees were right under the power lines so they had to go but it's such a shame to destroy plants which have managed to survive this far into the drought.
It's been raining we had 11ml 2 days ago and 7ml today, hope we get more.
I haven't seen many animals and birds around this last week just the usual, white crowned babblers, crows, galahs, Brushtailed possums and noisy minors.
I really need to have a long soak in the bath my arms are sore, I feel good though.
