It's raining it's pouring

Well, I wish I was sleping, but thanks to an ill-fated attempt to stop my hay fever I'm hardly even sleepy. You see sudafed PE reacts with zoloft nad so I'm all out of wack as far as sleeping goes, not that I'm overly good at keeping regular hours anyway.
It's raining, theres been wonderful thunder and even fog at the top of the range. The mini swamp at the bottom of the dam has a little bit of water in it, Hopefully this time it wont dry out before the tadpoles finish growing, I'm not sure that there is any more room in the ponds.
I've got the pole lathe up and running, I'll need to adjust the treadle so that my foot doesent slip, or mabye I should avoid using it when it's raining. Anyway I've decided to make my stepdad(Jack) a turned handcasting fishing reel for christmas. I've been searching for ideas on the net and I'm rapidly getting the feeling that I may be letting myself in for more than I bargained for.
I love living here Twice in the past week I have bee able to stand on the back verandah and watch a Rednecked wallaby nibbling on the back lawn. I saw the coolest thing the other day one of the nephews( or nieces) had left a toy car on the front railing, anyway I walk up the ramptowards the railing and sitting there is a green treefrobg with it's chin resting on the car. It looked just like someting out of a B grade horror move, very cool.

I also must reaafirm my adoration for white crowned Babblers, they really amuse me, I know birds arenrt here for our entertainment but their antics are soo cute.
Goodnight

wallabies, lathes, rain
