Crown went really well, we had more than enough food and the weather was perfect, although maybe a bit cool during the night. I was in the kitchen most of the time, or asleep, I ended up being more exhausted than I thought after the exam . I did manage to catch up with a few people and while I didn't see the fighting I saw the Investiture court which was good, I'm quite happy with the next King and Queen Kellianne was made a court Baroness as Well, which was very cool, Afterwards it was as though she was being mobbed by groupies : ) I couldn't give her a congratulatory hug until much later.

I grew enough for herbs and lettuce for two of the salads served at the event and grew so I’m pretty happy with that. The chooks broke into one of the gardens today, But I managed to salvage some of the carrots I’ve been growing, they aren’t as big as I’d hoped but they are Purple.

I’ve grown some period style carrots, I wish I could find a date of origin for variety there are red carrots mentioned in Le Ménagier de Paris but all I've found is a reference saying they are an old variety. Of course the phrase Old variety is almost as good as traditional when it comes to defining age, but hey they’re purple.

My 6 year old niece drew me a cute picture today, It's a red back spider family complete with scared people, I particularly like the eyes.
