life is getting better with each friday that comes my way... except last night i was working on a paper. but i hope that good things are gonna happen... still exercising caution... must not let head float away, must keep heart from traveling to sleeve. must remain a lesbian until i know it's gonna be alright.
i've been writing more poetry believe it or not... i'm also thinking of trying my hand at some prose, i have no clue how to start though, need an idea i guess.
i really want to learn how to sing or learn how to play instrument. the only instrument i have in my apt. is a harmonica that a boy gave to me waaaaaay back in high school... derek vonk, where are you now? i still havent learned how to play it, maybe this summer i'll learn.
this summer's gonna be great. i'm spending a month in poughkeepsie (i've already mentioned this) living with my friend who i havent seen in over four years, and i'm gonna fall in love with everyone i meet, because why not? after i come back to l.a., i figure i'll chill there for a while, but what i really want to do--right now, anyway--is spend a good chunk of time in berkeley, just hanging out, biking, hiking. i dunno. still have to check if there are any phil classes i can take that go from july-august... i really want my senior year to be as chill as possible, and it would be sweet if i only had two more classes to take for my major instead of three...
its sort of unnerving to think that i'm graduating next year... steph's graduating this year, so is carina, so is michelle, and kelly's off to japan at the end of march. goodbye's really get to me, and i hate 'em. college is full of goodbyes! i hate the really unsure goodbye's especially, the kind where you dont know if you'll ever see 'em again... i like my friends, i dont want them to leave.... but i love them too, and i want them to leave and be in the position to do bigger better things. i want some pizza. i gotta go get dressed.... this has been the longest entry i've written in a while, and its all over the place... see ya...
