seems richmond was in flames today.
the building that was under construction across the street from my apartment building burnt completely down.
the winds were at a strong 20 mph, blowing the flaming debris three streets over and a number of blocks down broad i believe.
they are calling this the worst fire richmond as seen since 1865, when richmond was burned as the south moved the confederate capital.
and i had to miss it.
