Brief update:

Exams went ok concerning the effort I'd put into revising. Marks will be out in mid-September I expect. But I got fabulous news concerning my written assignment on U.S.-taxation: I got a first! YAYYY!!!!

After the exams I went to the gym before I started to tidy up. Of course I didn't make it until midnight, so I allowed myself to sleep for a while before I finally hit the road at about 6 a.m. on Friday, August 4th. After half the way my car broke down due to a lack of cooling liquid. Fortunately, I made it to the next service station where I met a couple of nice guys who could help me, so that I could continue my journey an hour later. I got home at 11 a.m. had a chat with my family while having lunch and then I went to bed until my friends called to ask me out for a barbecue. On that friday there were parties on streets everywhere around town so that we went to the biggest one close to my place. I didn't expect to meet so many people there, and everybody wanted to buy me a drink, so that I got wasted on Friday already.

On Saturday August 5th, the festival in town officially started and me and my ladies had so much fun. I was drunk pretty much all weekend long and had an argument with my parents on Tuesday, so that I thought about driving back to Ingolstadt but I was too tired. I spend most of the week in bed, sleeping or reading. Unfortunately, it's cold and rainy, so that I can't spend my days as planned in my favourite place: the hammock between the apple trees in my grandparent's backyard. Bascally, I'm incredibly bored by now and Ines already went into holiday with friends from Frankfurt, so that we had to cancel our plans to go to Holland for a few days. I was invited to Berlin by some of my parent's friends, but I went home to save money and not to spend it.

Last Saturday, I went to the "Burgrock" festival with a girl I don't exactly like. We are so different and have so different attidudes towards things that I could shout at her all day long. However, it was a cheap ride to the Burgrock and due to the loud music and the crowd, I didn't have to talk to her that much.
At the Burgrock festival 4 local bands played and the headliners were Apoptygma Berzerk which were ace, but I was so freezing that I couldn't move anymore and hence I couldn't really enjoy their show; Negative = Teenie Rock, but my friend loved it *sigh*; and Amorphis = awesome!!! It only was a shame that it rained heavily and that it was sooooo cold. The atmosphere wasn't that good either. I hate Germans, they are so selfish. The stage was located in a castle's inner courtyard on top of the hill, so that one had to walk uphill to reach the stage. Hence, men who were already taller than me were standing in front of me on a place which was even higher than mine. And when I asked them nicely to move a bit, they got angry with me. I really hated it. Hence, I watched, well rather "heard" Amorphis standing in the pit and Apop from a wall in the back. I took the chance to get some food while Negative were on. From what I've heard from them that night, they are just as good as The Rasmus and all the other young Scandinavian wannabe hardrock bands.

Well, that were pretty much all the highlights of the past 2 weeks... *sigh*
