Driving,
into the darkness that is forever.
Pavement receding to black,
penetrated only
by unblinking red orbs;
staring,
never straying from behind.

This golden line,
the invisible barrier
pushing me forward,
holding me back,
from those i envy.

hanging in the sky,
the moon lazily lights my path;

on the wrong side.
