I can't believe the f!cking mail came today.
We just got a foot of snow, and the mail was delivered on time.

No school, no work. Everybody gets a day off to adjust to Daylight Savings Time.

As opposed to here, where if a flake of snow hits the ground and doesn't melt, the entire city panics.

Yeah.. I can't wrap my brain around that. I've heard in Vancouver, a "snow storm" involves one inch of snow.

As far as I'm concerned, if ever the TTC decides it can't operate, I'm snowed in. Mind you, the day the TTC can't operate, the entire city shuts down (basically)

A few weeks back, there was a sprinkling of snow here. At most, an eighth of an inch on any surface that remained cold (like the beds of trucks, etc.). Any snowflakes hitting the ground almost immediately melted.

There was no ice in the several blocks of streets that I saw.

And they still closed every school in the county.
