My goal in life is to help as many people as I can by whatever means necessary whether it is through advice, labor, caring, etc etc. If I were to become a doctor, that would make achieving this goal much easier and much more satisfying. However, since I'm still in school, I don't often receive very many opportunities to make a difference in people's lives.
However, today, I just had my blood tested at a clinic. If all goes well, I could be a bone marrow donor for a very sick newborn boy. It's a minor inconvenience for me, but it could make all the difference in someone's life.
Here's hoping that I'm the perfect candidate for him and here's hoping that the little guy can pull through while I get through these checkpoints.
