so...today has really sucked. i woke up really sick, and i still feel like french fried ass, and i still have chemistry and english to do. it totally blows, but aside from my bitching, some thanx are in order. sam, my g/f, is totally amazing. she totally took care of me all day. she drove me to school and home, and once we got to my house, she stayed w/ me until 8:50, essentially nursing me the whole time. you may not know this, but when im sick, im totally pathetic. i can do nearly nothing on my own, and it didnt bother her one bit. once we got in, she had me lie down on my bed and tucked me in. after sleeping for about a half hour, i woke up and saw her looking at me. she asked, "do you need anything," and i gave a short laundry list of things i wanted. she told me to go back to sleep, and i obliged. upon waking the second time, there was a 2 liter bottle of sprite, a box of crackers, a can of chicken and stars soup, and a smiley face balloon waiting for me. god...she made me so happy. from there on out, i slept on and off, and she stayed by my side unflinchingly. there were a million other things she could have been doing, but she chose to nurse me. thank you baby. i love you.
