Yup...
It's been ferever since I've posted but I supposed I should once again for my loyal readers.
Everything is still going pretty well. I like the job I'm doing on my new program a lot better. I'm an analyst now so I take gigabytes of data and crunch it and draw results from it. I also code a lot in Matlab and C/C++. YaY! I did well on my performance evals again so all is well on the job-front.
I have my first final on Friday and my last next Thursday. Stochastic Processes = Yuk! Abstract Math = Yuk! I should get an A in my abstract linear algebra class but I'm still on the bubble for the Stochastics class. I messed up on the first exam but did much better on the second exam so hopefully I can eek it out on the final.
I get to see Doug for 18 days!! From Dec 14th to the first of January! I'm so excited. Everything is still going well on the Doug-front. It'll be 5.5 years in February and 2 years married on Jan 7. YaY!!! It's been rough but I'm a pro at this now.
Only two more semesters of class and one semester of thesis then I'm outta here to wherever he is. I can't wait.
My life is kinda sad now though...all but about 8 hours a week I'm doing one of three things: at work, sleeping, or doing class stuff (in class, homework, studying, commuting to or from class, etc). The other 8 I spend zoning out on TV (Bones and House mostly) and/or playing WoW. Ugh! I can't wait for this to be over. I can only do this for about 4 months at a time before I start losing my fragile grip on reality and my sanity. Good thing it'll be over in two weeks! :D
On a good note, they're building a Best Buy, a 16-screen theater, and an Old Navy across the street from my apartment complex in a pre-existing mall that already has a Home Depot, Target, etc. I'm excited. All we need is a bar within walking distance and I'd be set like a table.
