Great weekend
This weekend was super bowl weekend. I had Friday - Sunday off from work. My boss was actually cool and gave me 3 vacation days.
Friday I was spouse to go downtown with my buddy Glen but we didn't end up going because his girlfriend didn't want to go. So instead I went to play basketball with like 20 people. We got to the gym at like 9:30 PM and we didn't leave tell 1:30 am. I didn't do good this time but hey like I always say basketball isn't my game. After the games I came home and took a shower. My Mom asked me why I was taking a shower at 2 am for. I told her I just got done playing basketball for 4 hours and she was like OK and went back to bed.
Saturday I ended up going downtown with my brother and my sister in law. We got downtown around 12:30 after taking the Wayne State shuttle. It was crazy to see all the people downtown. We tried to go to the NFL experience but we found out after waiting in line for an hour and a half that it was a three hour wait to get inside so we didn't end up going. So instead we went to the ren cen and watched some of the ESPN programing. As we were going downstairs I saw Jim Morea. He is the old Colts coach if anyone didn't all ready know. Then as we were walking down the street heading toward campus marshes park we saw Kurt Warner walking down the street. It was pretty sweet to see him. After we walked around the park for a few hours we decided to go home. We were downtown for 8 hours. It really didn't seem that long since we were having a good time. On the way home we stopped to eat at Red Robin and it was so good. After eating I came home and went to bed.
Sunday was the super bowl. The game wasn't that great and the refs made a lot of bad calls. I was happy that the bus did get his ring before it was time for him to retire.
Monday I went back to work. It was busy and on top of all that one of the guys called in so we were short handed. After work I came home and took a nap tell 3. After my nap I got ready and went to class. Class was pretty easy. After class I came home and did some math homework and watched wrestling.
Tuesday I had class in the morning. We had a test and I think I did OK but we will see about that tomorrow. After class I went to Mickey D's and Got something to eat. After eating at home I took a nap tell about 12. Then I went to the bank and cashed my tax check. It was $377 bucks so that was nice. After going to the bank I went to the high school and worked out with my kids. Then I came home and ate dinner. Went to Brads after dinner to play cards and needless to say I played bad. After poker I came home and went to bed.
Today I had to work again. Work was dead and it kinda sucked. Sometimes its good to do nothing but today wasn't one of those days. After work I came home took a nap and went to class. Class was kinda gay but oh well. Now I am sitting here being bored but I am going to stop over Cashes house in a little.
