Had an appointment with my OB yesterday afternoon.
I ran into Maria, although we have been acquaintances since elementary school since our volleyball teams used to play against each other all the time, I really didn't get to know her until I was pregnant with Richi and she was pregs with Leo and we went to the same childbirth class. We also had the same OB and similar due dates back then, and funny enough we went into labor the same day, I have a fast delivery and richi was born on may 29th, Leo in the other hand was a bit more complicated (which gave time for our OB to care for both of us) and he was born early on May 30th.
We kept in touch and everything as with rest of our class, and then in 2015 we both got pregnant again this time within a 3 month difference. I had Juls on July 1st and she had Sammy on October 3rd.
Now with our third seems like life is getting at us again. We have the same due date, same doctor and everything again, and as we kept getting near the end of our pregnancy seems like our OB finds it easier to meet us the same dates...
So we had fun talking about the kids and our pregnancies in the waiting room, it certainly made it easier.
So the actual appoinment.
Baby Ana Sofia is still frank breech at this point, OB is not worried he says she'll turn just in time and that nature is wiser than us. He also said that doesn't want any kind of intervention done as the baby is already big and don't want any risk. He also assure us that a frank breech vaginal birth is totally possible as long as I'm ok with it, but he also told me that if the time comes he would take an U/s before to make sure everything is ok, and that there is a small possibility of having a c section but he is agains booking one before hand if unnecessary. He went on a rant about how here in Mexico young OBs no longer respect nature and they are willing to "cut" when is not needed, he went very detailed about the the prosedure of having a breech baby vaginal delivered and the few complications that come with it and how to deal with them.
While I feel safe with him, hearing all those stuff scare me a little bit.
So the outcome is go home, rest, do your life... call if anything different happens and report back on Thursday, from there he might want me to go have another u/s to confirm the baby position, and if she's still breech we would have to wait a few days before deciding the next step
