Happy New Year!
Winter break is over. Tomorrow we go back to work and Richi to school. Richi is excited about it, he has ask for Emma (his teacher) a couple of times now, Julian on the other hand had been spending the whole day with me and I'm not sure how he would take being all morning with Rosy (his nanny) instead, he's 6 month now, he has started eating some mashed veggies and he's staring to sit. He's also wearing 12mo size clothing, my chubby little baby.
This past week has been full of Rosca de Reyes, we had a little rosca party at Esteban's house (Richi's friend from school) they live outside the city, not far from where are gonna move, they have a beautiful house and a gigantic bouncing house, the kids loved it, we stayed past 8:00pm at one point Esteban went upstairs and changed (sort of) into his pajamas.
Yesterday we had a Rosca party at my house, my SiL, her sister and two of her friends, along with my SiL, my BiL wife Erika and all their kids came along. There were in total 9 kids over 2 yo and 4 kids younger than 1, we had a piñata and I took almost all Richi's toys downstairs to the backyard (I have concrete backyard no grass), the freaking Piñata that my dad bought had confetti on it, and my house turned into a confetti mess. It didn't help that almost everyone took at least once their kids upstairs to Julian's changing table, so my stairs and the kids rooms where a confetti mess too.
Cuxo (Julian's godfather) is in town and we are taking him to dinner tonight, Ricardo is already back in college and he said he would sneak out of class before 8pm so we don't go to bed thaaaat late, I truly don't know how we are gonna make Richi wake up at 6:30am tomorrow.
Anyways I had a great end of the year, and I'm looking forward for whatever this 2016 has for me and my family.
