work work work
You know, I really miss my family. I never thought I'd miss them as much as I do. I actually miss their phone calls 5 times a day...now I only hear from them once every 4 days or so. I've only gotten one email response back in the past 2 weeks and it was just from my sister. I guess that saying "you don't really know what you have until it's gone" is true.
Regardless, summer has flown by, as it always does. I'm glad it's winding down, though. I need to stop playing video games and watching movies and actually have a purpose to each day (ie studying lol). I recently got this whole new motivation from Ferdous to work my ass off from day one in the fall. By the end of the first summer session I felt like giving up, maybe trying for an easy career, but after talking with Ferdous I feel a whole new sense of potential. Yay...now, to work on getting my research published (which I think is possible, seeing as my English professor really wants me to get it published) :D
