Notes from a married woman

Aug 18, 2008 01:38

So, yesterday, well, Saturday, I got married.  The ceremony was short, sweet, and perfect. It started late, but so be it.  The tulip garden was in full bloom and I couldn't have been happier. For those who were there, thank you.  I looked into George's eyes, and could see him vibrating with excitement at knowing were were getting married.  I have the perfect man for me in my life, and it was just right.  Hopefully, the photos came out, as I'd say we had an amazing photographer.Just an amazing style and so comfortable to work with.

The reception was pretty much perfect, other than I started to fade as the night went on.  I wish I just had an ounce more adrenaline to make it just a bit more energetic.  The food was actually really good.  The music had everyone on the dance floor.

The day after brunch was perfect for what it was.  The room we are staying in is ridiculous.  Two outdoor showers, a view of the vineyards, it's like magic.  Tonight, we just got home from the best meal I've ever had...The French Laundry. I don't know if the food was better, or the service.  I literally cried when I put the beef in my mouth.  It was better than any Kobe I've ever had, and really that should be all you need to know. I'll post a full entry on the experience on my Carbs are Good Food blog eventually, but I will need time to gather my composure about the whole thing.

This was the best weekend of my life.
