Going Private

Jun 28, 2006 01:04

This will be my last public livejournal entry. Eventually, it will be my only public livejournal entry. I hoped I would never have to resort to making my journal private, but I just discovered that my mom found my livejournal account because I came home tonight and she asked me, "Are you going into the Army?" In case you forgot, that was my April Fool's post. And since I basically made this thing so that none of my family members could read it, well, her knowing my username kind of defeats that purpose.

Allegedly, some anonymous person emailed her with a link to that specific post. And she supposedly read the email, clicked on the link and deleted the email without thinking twice about who it is from. This, obviously is a lie in one of 3 ways. 1) None of my friends would tell her that, especially after knowing it was an April Fool's joke, 2) none of my friends know her email address, and 3) If any of my livejournal readers would email her her that link, it would have been my dad. But my dad also knew it was an April Fool's joke, so it wouldn't make sense for him to do that either. Furthermore, if it was my dad who emailed it to her, she wouldn't have "forgotten" it was him.

Anyway, I'm in the process of going through all my previous posts that date back to over 2 years and making them "Friends-Only" posts. Therefore, in order to read any of my posts (save this one), you'll have to sign on in order to read it. And, of course, you will also have to be on my friends list. But all my readers are on my friends list anyway, so nobody will have to be worried about that.

So, desire to read Corey's livejournal = need to be logged in.
