I LOVE MY LIFE!!!
So... today was an absolutely amazing day!!! I went to Chicago with the guys that I always hang out with now while I'm here in BC. There were 4 of us, and it was probably the best day I've had since I came to KCC. It was just so fun being around good guys for a whole day in the fabulous city of Chicago. (ok... fyi the guys names are Ben, Tyler, and Matt...) I rode down with Matt and we met up with Ben and Tyler down there... cause they had to drop off some people from BC who are going on a cruise over in Europe... so yeah... I got to talk to Matt and learned a lot about him, and I opened up to him and came out of my shell. It was great. Then we walked around downtown for a few hours and then we went to dinner at Grand Lux Cafe (I think that was the name) and the food was absolutely amazing!!! It was the first meal I could taste in 3 days, cause I've been sick and stuffed up. Oh man, so good!! And the desserts were amazing too! We split desserts and while Tyler was eating his, he bite his tongue real hard (and he already had a cut in it) and he like spewed chocolate syrup sauce stuff out of his mouth and it landed across the table and on my arm and a spot on my leg, it wasn't very much though, but it was still kinda funny... Then we walked around for a few more hours and made our way to Navy Pier. So we find a map and figure out to get down to Navy Pier and well... we went one road too early, so we came to a dead end... and oh I forgot to mention that I was on crutches the whole day, and I might add that it hurt real bad rubbing on the inside of my arms and my hands started to blister, a few miles on crutches will do that to ya. Anyways, so instead of them making me walk all the way back down the road and over to Navy Pier they got a taxi! So I got to experience my first taxi ride! It was quite great, those drivers are crazy! lol. Navy Pier was really cool... we were gonna go on the Ferris Wheel, but the line was way long, so we decided to skip that and we watched the fireworks and then walked and caught another cab back to our cars... oh gosh... It was a perfect day, I couldn't have asked for anything better! Those guys are absolutely amazing and fantasic and such gentlemen! They were like constantly asking me how I was doing and if I wanted piggy back rides and such, they are super! I love them! ok.. it's 3:03am, so I should probably get to bed... Good Night!!
