Amazing
This year has been absolutely amazing.
I find it crazy that the class of 2005 is done with their freshman year of college! Days in High School seemed to go by slowly and college seemed like forever away. But now we are done with our first year. AMAZING. These new chapters in our life are in full swing and we are growing up faster than we know.
I remember my first day of volleyball practice last year, August 1st, school still a month away, and the end of school seeming to be years away, yet the months flew by! I can't even remember all of the hard work I've done, and things I've gone through.
Friendships are changing and we're beginning to form life long bonds with those who are closest to us, we are looking for more serious relationships, some of us are even engaged and getting married, wow. Life is coming at us, almost too fast. Just to think, that in only 4 or 5 years we will be graduating college and some of us will be married with kids, wow... wow... wow.
I've learned so much about myself this year. I've come so much closer to God and I've felt closer to my family, even though I'm far away and don't see or talk to them everyday. I've learned how strong of a person I am, and how much I rely on God to get me through every single situation of every single day. I've found the morals and values that are important to me, and I've lived on them, and have thrived. And I've found the friendships that are true and those that are false. I've stepped into the real world, the world of disappoinment and more disappointment. I've seen the effects of poor decisions, and I don't want to fall into that pattern. I've found who I am and I'm proud of who I am.
