I shouldn't read comments on other people's ljs written by people I don't know. I refuse to reply to such comments and possibly engage said people in debate because I don't know them, but sometimes they really get under my skin. This is a stupid thing to make an entry about, but...
Relationships themselves are often (always?) complicated things. The status of a healthy relationship rarely is.
Also, being in a hot tub is in no way analagous to sitting (or standing) in a draft while wearing damp clothing. And sweat is not a magical substance that mysteriously cools down bodies in ways that water can't. And no matter what published study you are citing, I can guarantee you that a 30% difference in results between the test group and the control group is statistically significant.
