I just filled out the Missouri voter registration application, and I made so many mistakes. They will laugh at me when they get the application. First, I think I signed in the wrong place - the entire appication has boxes with labels at the top of the box (like Name or Address) and the information is supposed to go at the bottom of the box. So I signed in the tiny box that said signature, below the giant empty box with no obvious purpose. Second, I misspelled St. Louis as St. Loius when addressing the envelope to mail it in. Finally, when I turned the envelope over to seal it, I noticed that the flap was upside down. But I had already put the stamp on it, so I couldn't just start over. Woe is me.
But the neat thing is that I could theoretically vote in both parties' primaries because Missouri residents don't register party affiliation, so that it is not on public record - they just have to state their party affiliation when getting a ballot for the primary. Weird.
Also, I like oatmeal raisin cookies, or at least the kind that I make. And Terry doesn't seem to mind them either.
