So like, Moff kinda didn't try with this ep., yeah? So far it's predictable even though it is enormously fucked up, and the only innovation to your standard Moffplot is the little girl and the Matrix, which is OC. I hope that doesn't throw us for too much of a loop or end up completely diverting from time and relative dimensions in space. ALSO WHERE IS DONNA WHERE?!
HOWEVER, I will stifle my heretic commentary and point out once again how irrelevant Rose has been thus far in series 4. I like that Moff is throwing other women at the Doctor because
A.) I don't think the Doctor LOVES Rose as much as everyone, including himself, thinks he does
AND
B.) The Doctor's real old and he's been around the block a few times
Whoever Riversong ends up being, or whatever she ends up doing to the Doctor, I don't care soully because she had more romantic chemistry with the Doctor than the Doctor EVER had with Rose. Yeah, the Doctor chased after Rose with his eyes and held her hand (it's like THIRD BASE) made sure Rose laughed at his jokes and reveled in her naivete, but she was always a girl and never a woman like Riversong or Reinette or Donna - potential forerunners.
And when Rose pops up later this series being all "LOOK AT MY GUN, I AM HARDENED", the Doctor will just be all, "YEY ROSE! WAIT- GUNS! UR A WOMAN NOW I THINK IDK BUT THERE ARE OTHER FISHES IN THE SEA OH BUT RTD IS GOING TO KILL YOU PROBABLY IDK TURMOIL."
