To fish
More often than not, when humans are plagued with problems or dilemmas or confusion, when they approach another person, all they wanted was a yes or no answer. Or an assuarance that what they wanna do is the correct choice in the opinion of the listener. They just wanted affirmation to their actions.
That wont happen when the listener is me. Most times anyway.
U fished for a poor man, u will put food on his table for that mealtime. But u teach a poor man how to fish, u will put food on his table for his lifetime.
So if i happened to be the person u wanna talk to about ur problems, u will get a very long-winded roundabout talk from Yours Truly. I will try to lay all the pros and cons in my opinion in a very systematic way. And i will be there with u to work out ur problems. But U WILL WORK OUT THE PROBLEMS. Not me.
Dun come to me for a yes or no answer to ur life problems.
Having said that, to the person concerned, follow ur heart pls. Dun think of the inhibitions posed by ur frens or society. When things happen, it happens. U know better what is best for u. So be happy ;)
