An Introduction
Week 1: Evercreech || Week 1: Barnes || Week 1: Twiddle&Rosier

There are about 150 images underneath the cut. Just a warning.

This trio has an interesting relationship to say the least. First there's Fabian, a young man just out of college. He dreams to be a Game Designer, although he doesn't have the resources yet to fullfill this dream of his. It would've been easier for him if he had just moved anywhere else than Violent Fields, but he saw it as a challenge. He's a vegeterian and a coward, scared of ghosts and monsters under his bed since he was little. He is also nurturing - he loved to be their neighbour's nanny - easily impressed by about anything and a perfectionist. He fancies creative redheads, but they shouldn't have any mechanical skills. He loves to fix things himself. He has 5 neat points, 5 outgoing points, 3 for active, 4 for serious and 8 nice points. He is a Libra. His primary aspiration is fortune, while his secondary is knowledge.

His sister, Erin is quite the opposite. She is a romantic sim at heart and wants to have 10 first dates in her life. Although it's not as impossible as Fabian's wish, she is rather picky and won't go on a date with just any sim. This is because her secondary aspiration is family. Unemployed, athletic sims are exactly her type... as long as they don't have black hair. Summer is Erin's favourite season and is not particularly fond of winter. She's also both flirty and artistic. In high school she often used to say; 'a little flirt cannot hurt.' She doesn't like to be lonely; she's a social butterfly and always needs people around her. Erin has also a natural talent for gardening. A green thumb. She's very outgoing, with 8 points. She has 5 neat poins, 4 active points, 5 for playful and 3 nice points. Erin is a Leo. As already mentioned, quite different from her brother.

The third person to tag along is Phoebe Rosier, a childhood friend from Fabian. Like Erin, she needs people around her and is a popularity sim. Her secundary aspiration is knowledge. She is a Scorpio. She dreams of having grandchildren - at least three. It's a very common dream amongst sims, but not everyone is blessed with children or grandchildren. Men wih brown, facial hair -preferably long and curly - are her favourites. They shouldn't be athletic, though. Phoebe has 6 neat points, 6 for outgoing, 7 for active, 4 playful and 2 nice points. She's both rebellious and a genius; something her teachers in high school and university found out soon enough. She's smart, but that didn't mean she always played by the rules. Another trait of her is evil. Not Cruella de Vil level evil - why would you want to make a coat out of puppies?! - but she has her evilish pranks. Phoebe is also very neat and organised and above all, loves the supernatural sims from this world. Any sim that isn't exactly normal is amazingly cool in her eyes.

As Erin was the only one with some skills in gardening, she took it upon her to take care of their little tomato garden. Fabian was determined to research how to get electricity working in the town. It would be one step closer to the job of his dreams.

Erin rushed out to greet the young brunette. She thought Geoffrey was both cute and handsome at the same time.

He didn't seem to mind her company at all.

Actually, they were all too eager for some intimate contact.

Her first date - with Geoffrey - was a huge success. They had both loved it...and Erin hoped it wouldn't be the last time they would see each other like that. He'd been amazing.

It was rather sweet to leave her flowers. Red roses... she had wondered where they came from, since no one had flowers growing yet. A few minutes later she discovered they were fake. Still, she smiled at the gesture. It was the best he could give in this situation.

Phoebe didn't like to get her hands dirty in the ground of the wasteland, but she did love flowers. And as beautiful Geoffrey's fake bouquet looked from the distance, there was nothing better than the real thing. Even though they were daisies.

Fabian devoted every single minute of his life to either research in his collection of books they got from the public library from Strangetown, or to stare through his telescope. Maybe they would spot an alien. The chances were slim, however.

Erin actually started to complain that her brother didn't have time for her, at all and started to warm up to Phoebe. They weren't exactly the best of friends, but they grew more and more towards each other as Fabian distanced himself from them.

The weather in Violent Fields was quite intense; Erin got hit by lighting. According to Fabian, who knew an awful lot about weather and other natural occurences, told her she was lucky to be alive. It didn't make her feel any better.

(I don't know what to say about this screenshot. I really don't. I found him like this.)

After some discussion during breakfast, Fabian decided to put on the thinktank. It was an object that had helped Erin through her college years. He could now read twice as fast; it was a weird feeling.

Erin had some amazing first days in their little town; gardening in the heat, in the summer, which she absolutely loved... and Geoffrey. He came by every day, and with each day their bond grew stronger.

Phoebe poked fun at him because he didn't look as strong as the other males who had come to Violent Fields.

Fabian now knew everything about electricity, water and their mechanical purposes. If he could only convince Harold he was the right man for the job.

Days passed by. Erin woke up nauseous one day, but she blamed it on drinking spoiled milk instead of eating the bowl of mac and cheese Fabian had cooked for her.

Another day passed. Both Fabian and Phoebe didn't care much about the garden, so when Erin had felt particularly sick one day, the bugs took their advantage and started to eat all of her plants. With a sigh, Erin got up from the way too comfortable couch - her back was hurting quite a lot - and grabbed the spray she had brought along. There were more animal friendly methods, but those were more expensive and they didn't have the money nor time to get those.

Maybe it was because she had been under the weather, but the scent of the spray went way up, into her nose and she almost started to cough. Had she pressed the wrong button?

The spray developed into a thick smoke and started to surround her. Now she definitely knew something was wrong. If Phoebe was playing a prank on her, she would get her revenge. She was not in the mood to deal with any of her stupid, childish pranks, even though Phoebe hadn't pranked her since they arrived.

It felt as if someone knocked against her head with a hammer. She got dizzy and almost stumbled over her own feet when she tried to escape the smoke. Now she knew Phoebe couldn't be behind this; no smoke bomb could give her a headache that bad. It felt as if her skin was... something was growing, underneath her skin, underneath her scalp. Her rather greasy hair, felt... like paper. No. Not paper. Something else.

She reached out - scared out of her mind. But of course, both her brother and his friend were inside the house. It was early in the evening. No one was outside. Just her.

Things - there was no other word - were crawling up her ankle and leg. Finally, the smoke slowly disappeared. Her hair wasn't brushing in her neck anymore. Scared of the answer, she brought up a hand to her head and carefully touched it. Leaves. Leaves?!

Completely unaware of the whole happening behind the house, Fabian went outside to greet a new visitor.

Completely in shock, Erin got inside. She wanted to look in the mirror. Checking if it was real. But as she had looked at her hands and felt at her ...hair... could she even call it hair? She knew this wasn't an illusion. Whatever had happened... this was her. Green. Like an alien. That would be terrible. She was going to be shunned, now. The aliens were the reason why the valley turned into a wasteland. And now, she herself, had become one of those. Her eyesight had changed, too. Everything was brighter, more colourful. And she wasn't hungry or tired. She couldn't even imagine herself eating something. It would be wrong.

Phoebe took one glance at her and immediately knew what had happened. She took Erin in her arms, hugged her, and comforted her by telling her that no, she was not an alien. She had become a plantsim. A hybrid between sims and plants. Nothing to worry about, she told her. But she had to watch her sun and water level. It took Erin the whole night to realise what she had meant.

Soon after, they started to flirt. Maybe it was because Erin needed the comfort. Maybe it was because Phoebe loved supernatural sims. Erin suddenly became a lot more interesting than that plain girl from Belladonna Cove.

That night they also realised Erin was pregnant. Fabian felt like the third wheel and went outside to stare at the sky. It was a beautiful, cloudness night. Silent. Too silent.

It had been a night full of shocking experiences. Phoebe, being overly curious about what had happened, was trying to pry the information about of him. Fabian kept his mouth shut and refused to talk about the aliens, or his abduction. Obviously something had happened to private - or shocking - to share. The way he had looked back at the ship... he was terrified. Or maybe angry.
Probably both.

Trying to ignore his sister and his friend on the couch was hard, but Fabian kept his eyes on the book. He had some issues to deal with from his own. Besides, it seems as if Erin was comfortable already in her new life as a plant.

And it was true; however, it was because she felt wonderful. She had just bathed and had gotten a lot of love, and it wa summer. The sun was so bright. It was all she needed. And above of all that, she was pregnant. She was the happiest person in town. Erin still didn't fully realise what had happened, but for now it didn't matter. She had felt nauseous and hungry and sick before the change. Now she felt better.

That evening, Fabian coughed a lot. It started quietly, but it become louder and louder. They could swear one of them had sounded suspicously a lot like a bark.

Yellow, bright light started to surround Erin's brother. This was why he had been silent all day, had been reading books all day. This was what he couldn't tell them.

He bit on his tongue, trying not to shout, even though he wanted to so badly. It hurt. Admittedly, it was less painful than what the aliens had done to him, but it still hurt. He hadn't found a cure. He had wanted it to hide it from the others. His panic slowly disappeared, as did his thoughts. Another, far more primitive thought came in its place. An instinct. And that instinct told him to relax. So he did.

Meanwhile, Phoebe was so busy with her piano music she had no idea what was going on.

A grin appeared on Fabian's face. He felt great. He felt confident. And above all, he felt hungry.

Phoebe was - needless to say - both shocked and amazed at the sight of a werewolf in their bath tub.

The following day, Fabian shifted back. He had no memory of what had happened. He had eaten a lot. He remembered that.

Erin had passed out because of lack of sunlight. She was starting to realise the new situation she was in wasn't perfect. She needed to change her lifestyle. Hopefully her brother could fix the electricity soon. Maybe they could buy one of those UV lamps. They were expensive, she knew that. But she wasn't sure she was going to survive the winter without one.

If Geoffrey had been freaked out about Erin's sudden change of appearance, he didn't show it. Their love was still going strong. Erin felt guilty about kissing Phoebe while she was dating Geoffrey, but shook it out of her head. It were the hormones. And she had been afraid and had needed comfort.

So she proposed.

Not long after, she was finally due.

Erin gave birth to twins. For one moment she had been afraid they would be green as well - she could handle people looking strangely at her, but she didn't want her children being bullied - but then remember she had gotten pregnant before the bug spraying catastrophe. They were both boys. They named them Nemo and Wilfred.

Erin wanted Phoebe to be the godmother of her two babies. When Geoffrey asked her, she told them she would be the greatest godmother there ever was and ever would be. Geoffrey had asked Erin why she didn't choose her brother, but after what had happened last night she didn't feel she could trust him with such small children. Not in the evenings.

Harold came by and he and Fabian become good friends. Fabian was delighted; the mayor had approved his plans for the electricity and water and would propose it to the government immediately. The man had neglected to tell anything about the alienship, though, and his sister filled Harold in.

The wolf named Fabian was strangely attractive. And Fabian himself had regained some of his consciousness while roaming at night. He still couldn't think that clearly, but he hoped that would change over time. He had read every single book available on the subject and hadn't found a cure yet. Not for him. Not for Erin.

Another couple tied the knot.

Neither of them seemed to mind the thick, brown hair Fabian's body was covered with. Harold didn't seem to mind the smell coming from Fabian's armpits. Harold liked dogs. And after all, Fabian did resemble a dog. A very attractive one, sure, and without a tail, and with glasses and a green shirt, but...

It was time for Nemo and Wilfred to grow up.

They thought Wilfred was the most adorable toddler they had ever seen... together with Nemo, of course.

Phoebe hadn't realised that as their newly appointed godmother it wasn't all playing and having fun. Changing diapers and potty training was also on the schedule. With great reluctance she helped Erin out.

After that, she thought a nap was in order.

In one of the boxes they had left unpacked all week contained some supplies for children. They had been Phoebe's and she was so wise to take them along with her. Nemo and Wilfred especially loved the tiny table, on which they could draw and build as long as they wanted.

(For people wondering throughout the update why Fabian became a werewolf; I was just as shocked as you are. He got abducted by aliens and I expected him to become pregnant. So I check the pregnancy check in both ACR and the simblender and it only displayed the pregnancy of Erin. I got incredibly confused and thought it was a possible bug. Around eight pm I was focusing on Phoebe, getting a nice shot of her at the piano when I suddenly saw Fabian standing up and getting in that werewolf shifting stance. I was so confused, until I remembered I had that really old hack from MTS in which there is 20% chance to become a supernatural instead of getting pregnant. I completely forgot. Afterwards I tried to find the hack on ModTheSims, but it must've been deleted, I can't find it anymore. But I did find this far more detailed hack by BoilingOil, which does the same, and more. I have yet to try this new hack out, but from what I can see it's a really fun hack to spice up your game. Full of surprises. By the way, I also have a werewolf hack by Cyjon, that doesn't give all the werewolves the exact same personality. As you might know, sims becoming werewolves shift personalities but Cyjon altered that to be less extreme. In the weekly summary, I will now also add Fabian's new personality points, as that will continue to change subtly for a while. Other stats, such as skills and hobbies will be in that summary as well.)
